Very basic design, but still functional. Assembly was a breathe. It felt a little awkward to use it at the beginning, but after trying it a few times, it feels much more comfortable now. Mechanically, so far it seems to hold up well.

I've been more active lately and trying to get in better shape. This has been a useful tool in that endeavor. I don't use it as much as I probably should, but I have noticed better core strength after using it. It works great and was easy to set up and use out of the box. I'm quite happy with it and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something like this.

So I bought this to work on my core bc I have constant every day lower back & SI joint pain (among others).

Because of some other issues of late (namely that I wouldnt be able to get off the floor without great effort if I got down there), I have not actually been able to really put this to the test

What I can tell you is that now that Im older & with osteopenia, I just dont want to risk slipping like I have using the single wheel.

Nothing like face planting or crashing down on your elbows.

This gives you more confidence to perform the exercises that will help you strengthen b your core.

And we all know a stronger core helps the back so I truly pray that Im able to start using this frequently soon.

I trust the quality & design of the build and I think for the money its a product I would order again.

My physical therapist said these are good & safer.

At time of review, this little ab roller is a great value ($25). It is very easy to assemble; just snap in the bar then peel and stick the foam pads into place for the elbow rests. This little unit also has a nice snap-back feature on the rollers that assist with the roll back.

Exercising itself is smooth and the unit is a small footprint. I tucked it under a chair near my desk so I can pull it out a few times a day for some reps.

For downsides Id say the phone holder is useless. You really cant see the screen when youre exercising. If you want to play music and dont have Bluetooth ear buds or a place to set your phone nearby, maybe. But I dont see value in the feature.

My first thought when getting this was that this would be the Cadillac of ab rollers. It actually is in terms of stability and comfort and adjustability. But it is pretty light weight and not as strong as the normal wheel ab rollers.

I'm not used to having a recoil in the wheel, so this makes the effort needed to retract and use your abs lessoned. So, I don't think it is really for serious or advanced athletes. But it is a safe starter ab roller and it is very comfortable because you can rest your forearms on it while you workout.

I don't think it's a terrible product. I think it does what it was intended to do. It just may not be heavy duty enough for some advanced users.

Recommended with slight reservations.
